Notes: In pandemicland, you might get into the habit of feeling low. When something good happens, you might not trust it. You might even turn away from the feeling. I've heard about studies that reveal most people prefer sad songs to some degree. They make us feel less isolated in our emotions, and they provide catharsis to help us transform ourselves. Something rang true for me when I heard about that. Even on a good day, I think I prefer sad songs. They help me to see the good more clearly.
